FEA / CFD Engineer – 63m Aluminium Vessel We are looking for a freelance Naval Architect / Marine Engineer to assist with FEA and/or CFD for a 63m aluminium vessel being prepared for RINA class approval. FEA: • Simplified global FEA model based on our existing 3D structural model • Global strength, longitudinal and torsional analysis • Relevant load cases, stresses and deformations • Local FEA of engine foundations • Calculation report for RINA CFD: • Resistance calculations at 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 knots and maximum speed. The work can be split between specialists. If you only cover FEA or CFD, we are still interested.
