We are accessing this DB from a django application, sometimes running SQL queries from the app and at other times using the django ORM. I have a Linux server which runs a MySQL DB server. On this server there will also be txt files uploaded every few weeks. The content of these txt files should be imported into the MySQL database. I thought about making a Cronjob which runs a bash script every few minutes. The bash script then checks for new files and imports the content from the new txt files if there are any. It would be your job to write this bash script. If there is a PHP solution which is easier. Let me know. If you can work via Remotedesktop / TeamViewer or AnyDesk on my PC that would be helpful. So i can watch, learn and understand what you are doing.
