Contest Brief

Hi, I am currently working on a little 'hobby' project. It is a book called 'Life Hack', Wroodles. It a complete random selection of my Wroodles (as I call them). They are a 'snap' in time, ie. a mental image taken of a given situation Personal or otherwise) circumstance, event. Normal stuff that we all go through. Some are poignant, some have a twist, some are funny, some are sad ... some are rants! Normal stuff really. I have a character for my book that encapsulates my thoughts and feelings, and I have some poems. Some poems need an image so that the message is both written and visual. So, I will be looking for an illustrator to work with to draw various cartoons, when I've decided what I want? They don't have to be colour, in fact more of a sketch would probably be more applicable. I quite like pencil (or pen) sketches. Attached is a sample 'stock' image for one of poems from the internet. This is copyright so I can use this. Any way I would prefer a pencil or ink type of sketch. I prefer black and white and something that looks like it had just been 'doodled' which matches my Wroodles.

Do you have a example Wroodles you'd like us to attempt, I will upload some of my sketches for other competitions, these can be tinted to a black sketch colour easily
