Contest Brief

Hi -
I am looking for a designer to create concept design for a new site called "My Dog" Insurance.
The site is clearly a a dog insurance website so trust will be important.

Unlike other Pet websites, this site will only focus on Dogs.

What I need:
1) Home Page concept (will require basic research by you into competitors)
2) Quote Page/Choose Plan Pages

NOTE:
- The home page MUST have a "Get Quote" Form that will link to the "Quote page".
- the GET QUOTE FORM will have the following values:
- Age of dog / Breed of Dog / Desexed (yes/no)
- The get quote form can ask name of dog, but this is only for personalisation and must then be incorporated into the second page...Its entirely optional
- MUST follow material design guidelines
- Please use ONLY Google Fonts
- logo attached, can modify colour if needed
- MOBILE FIRST WILL BE HIGHLY REGARDED

There should be three plans on the "choose plans page"
1) Basic
2) Perfect (-- this one should be highlighted)
3) Premium
- This page should be light as its part of a conversion funnel, it doesn't need alot of information.
- please see competitors and "lighten" the weight


This contest is to find a winning design and then the designer will be engaged for full scope the overall design and all pages...

I'm happy for focus on mobile design and/or desktop, this is up to you.

      You didn't implement a choose plan page. this was critical. the home page was too busy also... so it wasn't great for the design

    There are two excellent designs and several very good designs.

    I will be making a decision in the next week after consulting a quick focus group.

    Hi, can you bother to explain...what was WRONG with the design? As mentioned you are looking for professionally designed DEMO's but as per my view, you are giving 4 STARS to NON-SENSE demo's!!! What we had submitted was the BEST among what you had recieved so far in this CONTEST and I can CHALLENGE you for that. Would appreciate if you reply.

      Apologies - your design was incomplete compared to those which were rated, or rated well.
      The quality of your design was inferior to those as well.

      I appreciate your feedback on logo, however this logo won in in freelancer competition voted with 1000 independent voters.

      I guess some people like Yakk (?)...
      Unfortunately the type of Yakk you're selling and upset about, is not what I'm buying.

      Our work Quality is appreciated and Demanded by 17+ Top Agencies in US - UK and Canada and you feel it is Inferior Quality? Wrong Excuse!!! And you selected this LOGO on freelancer after 1000 voters???? It shows what quality of work you admire and what kinda site you're building. I can understand what Kinda YAKK business site you're planning.

    Thank you sir for your valuable feedback . I see that you didn't like my design but I wanted to tell you that it all was a grid design except the shapes was meant to creat visual interest , however it is the end of the contest and there is nothing I can do for you now I am sorry

      I'm totally confused by the claim I'm boosting accounts, I don't know what this means... Are you suggesting I would run a competition to award a price for no reason?

      I'm declining attempts of either poor work / Doesn't meet brief (e.g. 1 page instead of 2) and also aiming to keep only the handful of top options open, so i don't get lost with millions of entries.

      Sound like you're angry for no reason. Very sad.

    Designs to date have not been great overall - increase value of competition to get more/better designers.

    Please note that it needs to be modern/clean design without clutter.
    Also - the "choose plan" page MUST be very clean as its part of a sales funnel.

    The main reason people come to the site is to buy a policy... GET QUOTE ==> CHOOSE PLAN ==> PAYMENT.
    I haven't included payment in scope, but the content on the home page is for SEO value only.

    Get Quote is a "FORM" that asks questions about the dog; this could be on the home page and is the most important thing in getting people to the "choose plan" page.
