Hello, I'm a rocker, piano man, songwriter, recording artist who is releasing an album of original music in early 2021. I wrote and recorded a song - it's blues, jazz, back-alley, rainy, forlorn, foggy night cigarette song called "Smoking In the Rain". I need an artistic representation of the phrase "Smoking In the Rain" - words and art - to express this idea. Looking for artistic visual images to be associated with the music. Think Film Noir, Tom Waits, cool like Miles Davis on the bluesy horns, back alley, cigarettes, puddles, smoke, rain... My name is Steve Kouba.

Step outside, strike a match... coddle the flame
Keep it safe, in my hand, against the wind, and the rain
Light my smoke, take a drag, hole it - exhale...
Let it all sink in, as I shake off the chill
I catch my reflection staring back from a puddle
I see a man who knows he's in trouble
Flick the ash from my cig at this fool out in the rain
Watch him stand there smoking, as it all goes down the drain...

It's complete folly, it's so melancholy
Smoking in the Rain, like some kind of Svengali
Protecting the ember, against the bit of Novermber
I already know that when I go, I won't be able to forget her.
