Contest Brief

Hi Freelancers,

I'm looking for a short (5-7 seconds) intro clip to my YouTube Gaming Channel: 'Tunnix_HD'

The clip should ideally;
- be 3D with sound effects (I.e. After Effects or Sony Vegas Pro style)
- contain my channel name 'Tunnix_HD'
- have sub heading under the channel name 'Gaming - VR - Tech - Reviews' (in whichever order looks best)
- be full HD 1080p (minimum)
- be provided with all usage rights (including the audio)

To give an idea of the sort of thing I'm looking for, this video shows 50 examples of intro clips - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lS-x1dpcLLA

In particular, I like Numbers: 48, 40, 37, 14 & 6 although please don't just use these existing templates without making them your own. Hopefully from these examples, you can see I'm not looking for anything too 'explosion-y' or in your face. This also applies to the music and so unless it's quite subtle, it might be better to just stick with animation sound effects? - Remember, the theme is gaming, technology and VR - Mostly related to PC rather than console.

Bonus points If you're able to supply a copy of the logo as a large image file, but this isn't essential.

Thanks for taking the time to read. I'll be sure to provide feedback on all entries submitted and happy to provide any further information if needed.

A massive thank you to everyone who entered the contest. It feels awful not being able to pick more than one winner as there were some excellent entries. Hopefully some of you are able to edit the name etc and use your work for future projects etc. Thanks again - S

I am totally agreed with Mark when he said "I really don't want to pay money for doing so. And I think the contest holder will be fair and won't accept stolen ideas and copied work." and also liked the Contest Holder when he replied "Don't Worry Mark - If any idea was a copy of someone elses work, I would reject it completely. - S"....that's the spirit! I salute you Mr. Mark for being against plagiarism. I'm agreed with you!

I did'nt mention anyone particularly but I can say that I wanna be honest in my field. To me, winning a contest never was a big deal but HONESTY is a vital fact that I like to stick to. I always disrespect dishonest person.

I really don't like when (creative?) people use existing Templates and manipulate/abuse them and gets bunch of stars. That really hurts! As I found one here and got heavy stars. As when I saw and thought over and over again that I had seen that before for sure. Fun part is that I found the template luckily on the fly by checking out in videohive.com. You guys may get the fun too. The link : https://videohive.net/item/minimal-logo-reveal/11056160?s_rank=11

It's really a good idea to disrespect and decrease others work to win the contest. the template you attached is completely deferent from mine and the logo design I created is completely my idea. Even searching and selecting the template that fits the client's needs and adding your touch to it is an effort you should appreciate and respect.

Thanks to all freelancers for entries so far. A bit of general feedback so far: In terms of music, a few of the entries are just bit too loud / in your face... So future entries, maybe tone this down a little? Entry #2 is great example of a slick design, with nice sound too. - More like this would be great! - S

I really don't want to pay money for doing so. And I think the contest holder will be fair and won't accept stolen ideas and copied work. I would be really sad if I lost the contest because of this deed.

Mark H - I am not asking people to copy your work at all. I'm saying that it's a great example of a slick, subtle design. When I say 'more entries like this', I mean less of the loud, in your face type intros. - S

There is no logo and I am open to fonts that the creator thinks suits the style of the channel. A few examples I quite like from DaFont: Manilla Cellos, Aero, Earth Orbiter, Quantum, Pirulen as rough examples. I've upped the prize very slightly but will not be upping further than this. I see contests as a way to give new Freelancers without the existing portfolios or site feedback, the opportunity to gain work and valuable client feedback for their profiles. I'm not expecting veteran freelancers with 100's of feedback to want to enter, but hopefully it's an opportunity for those starting out to showcase their talent and build a portfolio. Hope this clears some things up. Thanks - S
