Contest Brief
We are digital marketing agency looking to work with a freelancer on the complete overhaul and redesign of May Beauty. This may lead to further work for the redesign of sites for our other clients too.
May Beauty sells products in the beauty sector, with a range varying from face oils to hair masks. They pride themselves in using organic ingredients and have a strong base of existing customers. Customer feedback for the products has been exceptional, and they have many influencers already on board who promote the products through Instagram.
If you feel you have the creative flair and talent to improve on the existing design this is the contest for you!
We would like you to take the following design criteria into account:
- A clean and simple look and feel
- A simple customer journey with strong CTAs (Add to cart, shop now etc...) and a clear pathway to the end product pages
- Embrace the organic element of the product and reflect that in the design
- Inspire confidence in the performance of the products
- Integrate social proof from the social media themes
- Make use of the colour schemes from the existing website
- Display prices everywhere that products are listed (they are not currently)
- Use inspiration from other top beauty brands
- Try to use images from the existing website where possible, if not use free stock images.
