Contest Brief

Looking to redo the logo of my professional wrestling website. Ideally, the logo would noticeably reference wrestling and even take inspiration from the WWE logo.

Must be simple, clean, modern, and work in different colors, but I am looking to mostly use white, black, silver/gray and red. It should also be able to look good in square thumbnails (my current logo is only a horizontal one, and I would like to be able to have this work in horizontal form, too, but I am mostly struggling with a squared logo concept).

Definitely not the following:
- no people (no wrestlers grappling or something)
- no octagon
- no grunge
- has to be more than just "SOM" typed out in some font. If I can just download a font and do that myself, I'm going to just do that on my own.

Could have:
- name of the site or just the abbreviation
- a wrestling ring
- a championship belt
- maybe a swoosh like the WWE logo
- I prefer sharper edges rather than rounder ones

Check out the attachments for some ideas of things I find interesting!

Think more along the lines of a modern sports logo, or the NFL logo, rather than just "SOM" in a layer on top of a vector of a wrestling ring.
