Contest Brief

I need a vector logo for a project I'm working on (D&D programming library called Merlin). The logo should be of or involving a wizard hat and potentially a wizard as well. Ideally this would be fairly flat shaded, shades of purple as the main colours. I would also need a title for the project (Merlin). This title should be a sans serif and work as both white and purple (same shade as the main colour of the logo) with whatever magical wizard themed flair you want to add to it (for use of displaying on a navbar). You can really go as far creatively with the text as you want as long as it's readable, for example some potion vials behind it, a staff alongside it, some effects like a spell is being cast on it, etc.


So essentially I'm asking for a logo, a sans-serif title both separately, as well as some kind of composition where I can display both at the same time (text below or beside logo etc)


The title is mostly for displaying on a navbar on a website. It would be good if both the title and logo could appear together on the navbar without being too large but this isn't a huge deal as the custom text could be used instead if there is no good way to have the 2 together in a small space.
