Contest Brief

***UPDATE*** I would prefer the image to represent that of a curvy african american female. An image that's not "standard" in the hair and spa business. I uploaded a couple of images to help with my vision. I don't want the exotic type of image like the ones that's uploaded but i want a curvy, sexy and classy image and the font, etc. should play off the image.. nice Script or elegant font and the slogan can be in any other complimentary font. Thanks in advance guys. There's a lot of great submissions! Keep them coming! The winner will be announced on Monday 4/27/15.




The name of the company is My Lady Locks. I came up w/the concept b/c of the My Lady Lumps saying... You think of a curvy woman with long, sassy tresses... The logo that i've sketched is that of a curvy female with long tresses (hair). The site specializes in Hair Extensions and is geared more towards an African American audience.

My idea for the logo is to create a curvy female, with long hair extensions (my sample looks nothing like flowing extensions :) ) with a saying: "Come get YOUR hair girl!!!" in a comic type of font...

Regarding the colors of the logo, i'm aiming towards more elegant colors such as brown, bronze/champagne. Perhaps a brown background and logo in bronze or champagne color.... i would also like to have "MyLadyLocks" In Script and somewhere w/in the design to display the webiste: www.MyLadyLocks.com
