Contest Brief

Logo design competition for an Adventure Tourism start-up in Tasmania.

Business name in logo: Tasmanian Dirtbike Sherpas


Logo to be black and white or black, white and red.

Logo should be a combination of 3 concepts:
• Adventure
• Tasmania
• Dirt bikes

For the Tasmania component a silhouette or a map of Tasmanian, a Tasmanian devil, ferns or Tasmanian mountain range can be used. The Dirtbike component use items such as sprocket, chain, tyre or tyre marks, spokes or dirt bike helmet.
The logo should not portray anything too "extreme" eg bike tilted mid-air. Avoid full silhouettes of bikes or people.

This is a premium, fully catered service that includes bike hire, gear, fuel, pickup and drop off, food and drinks. The logo must represent this, avoid overly cartoon designs, the adventure component must be obvious but not too prominent where prospective clients feel the experience would be too challenging.

Target demographic:
25 to 55 years old
Male and female
Motorcycle rider (must be licensed)
Varying competency, some may have never ridden offroad
Subscribes to motorcycle (on and off road) Facebook groups
Reads motorcycle related media
Travels and enjoys outdoors
Enjoys wilderness, fresh air, good food, adventure
