Contest Brief

Hi,

We're need some simple background scenes for a new mobile game we're creating called Octopus.sh.

The game is about a little Octopus who bounces his way through obstacles until he reaches a bad sea monster he must defeat at the end of the level.

Here are the details:

1. Each of the backgrounds are underwater ocean scenes - each one only slightly different from the next.

2. The are NO other living animals, fish, humans etc in the background - only the sea, sea floor, coral or plants appropriate to the scene

3. The size of the background image can be found here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-eu-m0lPEq0

4. The scene must "wrap" so it doesn't look broken or stop/start as the Octopus moves forward and the scene rotates over and over again.

5. PLEASE DON'T COPY BACKGROUND VECTOR IMAGES, PHOTOS OR SCENES FROM THE INTERNET (E.G. SHUTTERSTOCK, FREEPIK, 123RF ETC...) AS WE NEED ORIGINAL BACKGROUNDS

6. I have attached some examples of the style we want below - it's a simple clean digital design. Our background only need varying shades of white & blue (not intricate, multi-coloured, hand-painted artwork) We love how the sun creates a dreamy landscape in these example - we'd like this replicated underwater please. And it has to be much better than this kind of thing: https://bit.ly/2BPWbHQ

7. The scenes we would need created are:

a. Coral Reef - Daytime

b. Sunken Ship on sea floor - Daytime

c. Deep Sea Trench - Nighttime

d. Arctic Sea Icebergs - Daytime

e. Giant Kelp Forest - Daytime

f. Open Blue Ocean - Daytime

g. Sunny Sandy Floor - Daytime

h. Sea Grass Seafloor - Daytime

i. Mangrove Forest - Daytime

j. Moonlight Sea - Nighttime

k. Ancient City / Ruins on bottom of Sea Floor - Daytime

l. Sea Cave - Nighttime

Please provide a few samples for us to check out - many thanks for your entry ahead of time and look forward to seeing what you can produce.
