Logo design + 8 simple icons

I am starting up a handyman/property services business which needs a strong, memorable logo which is not too busy and stands out on all backgrounds. It needs to look smart and professional. It doesn’t need to have too many colours. Maybe 5 at the most. We are hoping to offer building surveying services at some point in future so would be good if the logo was designed with this in mind.
The company name is De Luna property Services. It would be nice if Moon could be incorporated within the logo. I also quite like an old fashioned geometry compass but it’s not a must. I would perhaps like a rectangular logo with the company name within.
The logo will be used on work wear, back of work jackets, polo shirts, company van and business cards. Needs to be a vector image, minimum 300dpi to avoid loss of resolution when scaled.
Also with the logo, I need 8 simple icons to be used as a visual guide for the services provided and these are: -kitchens, -bathrooms, -flooring, -tiling, -plumbing, -furniture assembly, -garden structures and car ports, -odd jobs.
I have done a few embarrassing sketches but feel free to go miles off them and be as creative as you can.
