Contest Brief

we are an asset management company called "X-ing" (pronounced: Crossing), we do mainly equities trading.

The name in Chinese "xing" has the meaning of "awake". the philosophy of our trading strategy was like an "awakening", it helped to enlighten us and further our knowledge and understanding of the equity market. In the same token, it can also be likened to "crossing" over a mental barrier, in this case, crossing the barrier to enlightenment, knowledge and understanding of the market. So, it has a similar meaning in both English and Chinese.

A design in the form of a Chinese seal would be favoured, however, please do try to expand our imagination of a suitable logo that reflects the above description. Please do not use Chinese characters.

our clients would be institutional and high net worth investors.
