Contest Brief

screen printed t-shirts for an annual trip. Modify artwork for the theme for this year. The theme is the 1970's disco era. Keep jeep, large 45 on back somewhere with the wolverine on the back. Age characters a little - Lee typically is driving the jeep, warren is typically passenger. The mariachi guys I uploaded are Lee and Warren. Lee is in yellow.

Artwork for full back (max colors – 6-8 colors):
1970’s theme big 45 on back - Gertitol Bottle in the hands instead of Coors Light, scattered golf clubs or canes in background maybe (not a requirement but Idea or wolverine walking with cane??), Wolverine hidden on t-shirt, make Warren & Lee look slightly older than years before. Year 2017 on back. Words like before. See attached examples. I have art files I can send if needed for manipulation. Like the last Disco/1970’s theme shirt add somewhere on the back that it is the 65th Jeepers Jamboree (doesn’t have to be large just somewhere on back). No apostrophe on Jeepers Jamboree.

Left Chest (4 colors):
Design something 1970’s style/design with 4 colors and maybe the date or a big 45 or something. Come up with something and send a proof…nothing specific for left chest.

Right Chest:
Trail Boss in a 1970’s style font and in like an avocado green or other famous 1970’s color.

Need artwork sooner than later as it takes a minimum 2 weeks for printing and we need the shirts on July 18th for leaving for the trip. Thanks!!

#1 this is hilarious and looks like a ton of fun to work on :-) #2 We cannot open the file(s) that show both Lee & Warren. I'd love to create an illustration and work very quickly but need a bit more information!

Entry #2 your jeep is nice but it looks like a Wrangler. This jeep in the art is a 1946 Wiley's Flatfender and you left off tow bar. .

The files should all be either jpg or adobe illustrator files. So as long as you have adobe illustrator you should be able to open. I got the files from my last artist/screen printing company who has since gone out of business sadly. My father is making final choice on art as the shirts are for his trip. I am just helping him find an artist.
