Contest Brief

International Mining, the leading technical mining technology publication, is looking for a simple, effective new logo; something timeless that retains the core elements of the original brand (sunshine orange IM, for example). It needs to be legible and easily recognisable to a global audience - we are not after a complete reinvention, more an update on what we already have in place. Also, there is no need for any mining-related imagery within the designs.

As a secondary concern, please bear in mind that this logo will be embroidered on employee shirts at conferences and events, meaning that intricate detail may be lost from the design.
