Asalamalaikum
The holy month of Ramadan is a time of sober reflection and call on our Almighty Allah to have mercy on us his children.
It is the time of dedicated self-reflection ultimately used to strengthen our relationship with God.

Today we face an enormous temptation as we fight an invincible enemy COVID-19, which has created so much pain, uncertainty and fear on families and nations.

May Allah keep us under the shadow of his mercy in this time of uncertainty and distress. Sustain and support the fearful, anxious, and protect us.

As we pray with all our hearts, may we work on our spirituality, get closer to loved ones, increase our practice to charity to those still in pain and have no immediate solution to their challenges.

May we remember our aged parents, physically challenged, widows, orphans, less privileged, traditional rulers, and clergy to be blessed and used as vessels of encouragement to the weak.

May we pray for our Nation and the leadership to have fresh and brighter ideas to lead us through these turbulent times in the history of our Country.

Nigeria is resilient; we shall learn from COVID-19 challenge and come out super excellent in all economic frontiers, investing in indigenous capacity to be self-sufficient and depend less on foreign produce and aid.

May we continue to show love, stay stronger in unity because Allah has enabled us to win the battle launched at us by the enemy.

As we pray with expectancy, stay focused, energetic, and believe that all shall be well. May Allah grant all our heart desires during this holy month of fasting and prayers.
