Contest Brief
To design a country house at rural area in Georgian Architectural style keeping the looks however planning the layout so it is convenient and feasible. Designer to consider environmental criteria as the region has cold winters with very mild summers. House to be compact and having airy and grand entrance and hall way for guests with a large lounge and dining hall to serve them. Designer can consider (keep in mind) future expansion possibilities. Form should follow function but keeping the Georgian style looks. Please use the provided plans as a guide only. The designer can question the traditional layout and impose his/her criteria and propose alternatives. Our main goal of this competition is to select a suitable layout for the plan which may have “twist” or “edge” to it however keeping the conservative tradition of the local region. The selected project owner will have chance of engaging in the developing the design further into construction stage.
The contestants are requested to submit the layouts in editable format (dwg etc.) they wish however the winner will be requested to arrange Autocad submittal with axonometric or 3D layout .

This was a fake contest. Many freelancer spent a lot of time for this, and win a simple floorpaln. Contest holder got a lot of valuable ideas, and awarded his second profile. The winner registered at 2016 june (interesting?), no profile, no portfolio, nothing. This is a simple profile for win this contest.

Jhosser, I appreciate the approach you have trying to get rich multi-use/mutli-function spaces however I believe the spatial arrangement should be much for orderly rather than scattered. We are looking for new interpretation for space/function of an house which is for a family and a unit for social gathering. If you go on the same path you may hot something interesting. Thank you

The floor plan does not necessarily have to be rectangular as the plans provided , it can be ad hoc . However the elevations and exterior design should have the georgian architectural style which is required as per local regulation. Contestants can propose multiple layouts and design if they wish.
