Contest Brief

I am looking for a logo for my personalized gift business. My business name is: Viry Unique Momentos. Below is some information about me and my business (pictures of my work attached also). I personally like something with mountains and birds but all ideas welcome.

About the Founder:

It all started in India, a magical land of dreams. It’s where I was born and was the foundation for some of my best childhood memories. But, at the tender age of 8 my Mom, Dad, Brother and I uprooted to the United States leaving the rest of my family behind.

The initial heartbreak was unbearable and I missed my family dearly. A lot of days, in my new home country, were spent daydreaming about my life back home. I longed for the rich culture, the authentic food and the creative space.

I craved that creative space. Taking after my Mom, a gifted painter and potter, I learned early on that I liked to use my hands to craft things for others. Crafting and creating was a way for me to connect with my family back home. I was always hand making cards or personalized presents because it’s that special touch that people remember.

Fast forward to twenty years later and I am still hand making cards and presents for friends and family. It’s what I am passionate about. It’s what I love to do. It took several years of going through beauty school, getting my bachelor’s in marketing and a couple of corporate jobs, to realize that crafting has been my dream all along. In fact, it’s how I met the love of my life when he complimented my artwork.

As you can imagine, I quickly become known as the best gift giver amongst my friends and family. The thought, attention to detail and personalization always put a huge smile on the loved ones receiving the gift. And it’s that excitement of gift giving that I want to give to you!
