Contest Brief

"We're looking to create an infographic that defines our Business philosophy"
UPDATE:
I have attached another graphic example of something that is clean and demonstrates how we think. Connecting the seven themes and tying it into philosophy is the opportunity. We want people to think about their home life (family) their work life (business) and their free time (organizations) to evoke thought of how are store can better their lives and offer convenience.
I added a really basic pdf.... the center box could be the philosophy (feel free to edit the philosophy if it needs to have more impact) and the lines connecting the additional boxes could be example: (holidays) the lines could be the words that describe the theme.

Belmont's Specialty Foods is an emerging neighborhood specialty foods store. We are looking for help designing our philosophy which will be placed on the wall above our door. This will be placed for our customers to read and understand our philosophy (photo attached). The design will be placed above the door which will be a white flush wall once completed. We have our philosophy... "To create meaningful relationships with families, businesses and organizations and help celebrate life's most special occasions through food." and our seven themes... "people, places, holidays, seasons, milestones, organizations celebrating". Context to support the theme.

What's the goal with this infographic?
-we want people to look above our door and think about the many different ways they could celebrate one of our themes and come back 12 times a year to purchase gift baskets, food, plan parties, etc.

The infographic can be a literal grid of our philosophy, themes and context (see attachments). BUT what we would REALLY LOVE is for someone to create messaging that gets our point across.

attachments:
-hand written is our philosophy along with our & themes
-grid pic is just an example we liked
-news announcement is a possible idea for our window display
-wall shot is the space where philosophy will definitely go and possibly grid will go as well

Philosophy- To create meaningful relationships with families, businesses and organizations and help celebrate life's most special occasions through food.

7 themes:
people, places, holidays, seasons, milestones, organizations, celebrations

Thank you for you time!! we look forward to your entries!!

Hi there, I am considering using a paid image as the focal point for my entry. I can use the watermark image for my submission, but if I were to win the contest would you be prepared to pay an additional $15 for the purchase of the image which you will then rightfully own? Many thanks

Do you want multiple designs? The grid one is pretty easy but I can also try and think of something more eye catching and creative.

Alem: thank you for responding. I use this example with my team... you just spent weeks writing a term paper and now I want you to pull one or two sentences out that tells the reader everything they need to know. I think its the hardest part of our business model. We think like this...when the customer walks in and if we only have 30 seconds with them, we want to direct them to look above our door and they be able to understand how we think about celebrating occasions. We want the customer to love our store and our products but even more so that they think about something coming up, like a party, birthday, anniversary and think "I'm going to run by Belmont's and pick up a few things for that occasion" The infographic is so important because it's educational marketing.
