Contest Brief

Please note that this contest is for design and deployment of a full website. We would expect a fully functional website and not only the design.

We are looking for a website design as well as a brand identity and logo for business cards and social media pages for a cake company. We might want to expand into other culinary products so we need it to be very generic and cake should be excluded from any of the wording and design. We are looking for something very clean and simple based around a certain bird tattoo graphic which is attached. It needs to look professional and sophisticated. As far as colour scheme is concerned we like blue and white or black,grey and white. We are also fond of the colour copper. We are open to other ideas as well. We want a clean striking colour scheme.

The website must be mobile and desktop friendly. We would like a header footer design.

We are selling cakes and baked goods to wealthy Yuppies in Sandton, Gauteng, South Africa and are looking to be an up market custom cake shop with a very clean corporate design to match that.

The website needs to have an integrated online shop and payment system and EFT or credit card payment system. But orders will need approval from our side before it is guaranteed. There also needs to be a gallery of previously made products so that customers can get a feel for what is offered. We require the following sections on the website:
- Designer cakes
- confections
(These need to lead to a page that lists the products with pictures, prices and description, and option to add to cart. The online cart needs to have a comment section for special requests. Orders will be confirmed within 24 hours) With regards to the payment system we would like to send the customer a link to the online payment portal once the order has been confirmed from our side.

- FAQ
- links to social media to be included in the header(Facebook, twitter, instagram, linkedin, pinterest,youtube,tumblr).

We like the look and feel of the following websites for inspiration: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, redshift cyber security, Yuppiechef, tumblr. Although cakes are soft and fluffy we would prefer a very clean corporate image.

We are looking for something very professional and not cutsie. The idea is to convey that we are a professional outfit and not one person baking cakes from home. We want this design to look exclusive like a recognizable classy name brand such as Louis Vuitton, coco Chanel or Mont Blanc.

    Once again you give a feedback of 4 stars and you do not give ANY feedback... why is that?
    I hope you understand my disapointement, i worked hours on that and it seems that you like it, however you do not even give me 5 minutes of your time to give me a commen or a way to improve my work... I know there is still one week to go, but still, I do not feel like giving up... Please have a look at the entry and comment on it.
