Contest Brief

I want a logo for a new Online English School I am launching. The name of the company will be:

English Command

Several ideas I want to communicate with the name and logo are the combination of "English" and:
- Command, as in to have a command of or strong control over the language
- Command, as in command of or the leader of a group, the market, the competition, etc
- Command, as in to give a command or an order, or to speak in the imperative sense of language usage, such as "speak clearly", "smile!", "do your best", "have some tea", etc

I want the logo to be a combination of red and white, blue and white, or red and blue - whichever you think looks best. It should also have a black and white format.

The business will be operating, firstly, in the East Asian region, ie China, Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia. If there are cultural factors that you believe can play an effective role in the logo, please express that in your design.

The logo should be able to translate into a number of media, such as website, business cards, social media, signage, t-shirts, etc. If the logo can also be expressed in a favicon, that would be great, but not at the expense of the overall attractiveness of the logo.

The winner of the contest will be expected to provide both high and low res file versions, including EPS, TIFF, JPEG and PNG. However, you need to present all these to me in order to win the contest. Just provide me with a winning concept. If I choose your concept, then you are to provide me with the expected files.

Please take note that I will be requiring website design, SEO, marketing and such in the not too distant future. This contest might prove a means for me to connect with contractors for my future work.
