Contest Brief

*NO MORE HAMMER OR GEAR ENTRIES.

-I am a young professional running a successful service business I started in 2009.
-"At Your Service Appliance Repair"
-It's finally time I start branding in a more professional way that will help me expand my business moving forward.
-I provide in home service for residential clothes washers & dryers, ranges (stoves /ovens), refrigerators, and garbage disposals.
-I am looking for a logo that will be used for business cards, websites, t-shirts, work shirts, online badge, letterhead, etc.
-Tools I actually use are 90% Snap-On, mini flat head screwdriver, adjustable wrench, stubby ratchet screwdriver and adjustable pliers, Makita impact drill and flashlight. All of which neatly organized in a toolbox I carry into the customer's house.
-One of the things that sets me apart is my customer service, especially in regards to communications. I utilize text and email in addition to answering the phone and have a very good response time to my customers. I always suggest what is in their best interest instead of trying to "sell the job."

The image I attached is a rough sketch I did of a kitchen showcasing the type of things that I work on, My plan is to possibly use an illustration like this to be the banner / top image of my next website refresh. There are also 2 sketches to the side of same image with my logo ideas.
I really like the way
http://www.duluthtrading.com/
Illustrates things and was thinking of using that style to illustrate the attached kitchen sketch.
If I don't go that route, I would do a simple, clean, clear, modern, approach utilizing photography instead.

After I pick a logo, I will incorporate it into my website refresh, so this contest has the potential to transition into the next project, which will potentially pay on a much larger scale.

I would be interested in 2 different styles of logos to go with my future website changes.

Hello finalist, I want to let you know I really love the work that you guys have submitted. However, in the big picture, they are not something I can use for a logo at this time. I am working on several other things right now and will keep you in mind for upcoming projects.

I'm not sure if you read the comment I left, but I was trying to communicate to you, that, on a bigger scale, the design that looks good in the medium you have does not look good on a larger scale. Don't get me wrong I do like it a lot the way you have it, but it feels like it would be amazing as a cast iron signage for a brick and motor store front.

@Rafayjaved The top contenders do not have any appliances in there except for one person. I do only fix a hand full of appliances. Clothes washers and dryers. Ranges / Ovens/ Cook tops. Refrigerators, dishwashers and disposals.

#aysappliance ,sir respectively what i think that in your logo you dont have to show the appliances that your firm repairs because firstly, the file size of that logo will be increased and that will cause problem for you in future..secondly, the designers can add few specific appliances only..that will show that you only repairs those appliances.

I noticed a lot of people still using gears. Gears aren't a part of appliance repair. Also, As stated in the briefe, I will be re designing the website, no need to put your logo on a screen shot of the current one.

I will be image searching final contestants. If you have stolen the work of another artist, best case will be rejection. Stealing other people's creations is not cool, It's also illegal.

Hello, this is my idea for your logo #61 . Please let me know what you think about it. If I left anything out or if you have any corrections or Ideas you think I should work off of. I really think this logo would be a good representation of your business and it'll look good wherever you put it.
