Design a LED Lighthead for a surgical instrument

Contest Brief

Hallmark Surgical distributes single use surgical instrumentation in New Zealand. Included in our range are certain instruments with miniature battery operated LED lights fitted to them so they illuminate the examination site for the Doctor. We are wanting to develop 3 superior quality LED components for 3 different instruments. The attachments show the current products. Further discussion will be needed to explain in more detail what we require, which I'm willing to do to whoever feels this area of product development is appropriate for them. This is the first step of the project and I require concepts with design sketches, and a brief written report explaining how it works. It is critical to remember that these devices are disposable not reusable, so the low cost of manufacture needs to be considered.
