Design a creative logo for a Video game company

Contest Brief

I’m looking for a professional and creative designer who can design a logo for our company. It’s a video game company and the design is extremely important for me. The logo should best explain the name and then how many we are and what we do.
Here are the information that you need to know for the job.
- Company name is Shifting Tides ( it would be nice if the design can reflect the name somehow )
- We are team of 4 main founders
- We create video games for PC and consoles ( we don’t do games for mobile )
- We focus on games with distinctive art style and innovative gameplay and a little deep meaning and atmosphere.
- Our games are NOT directed to kids and little children.
- We DON’T want the logo to be funny, super energetic, sweet, childish or very dense ( detailed )
- We want the logo to be rather elegant and neat but not too serious or oversimplified ( it’s a video game company after all )
- For color pallet go for something close to blue or azure

Thanks everyone for their designs so far. we like some of the designs but we think we can have much more creative designs. since most new designs are getting repetitive, IF you are trying to get creative try to go for something hand painted maybe, not too FUN or childish but maybe COOL to show our game development characteristic.

just an update : we like having wave/tide in logo. but sometimes it feels like its for a washing or mineral water company. we DON'T like having a controller or similar gaming stuff in logo. but the best design would be a design that can have waves/tides or shifting/being different while suggesting a digital/gaming/tech team underneath ( just a little bit ). I know its hard but that would be key for our perfect design I guess.

as for initials, we really dont like it, unless you make a really creative design with initials ( S/T ) that is combined with waves and such.
