A very good friend of mine had his vintage VW beetle that he cherished stolen from in front of his apartment last night and he’s devastated. It was one of his cherished possessions and I want to do whatever I can to help him either recover it or earn money to buy another one because he can’t afford to replace it and the police in our neighborhood will do absolutely nothing to help him find it. He lives in West Hollywood, he’s worked here forever and he’s given so much to the community. He cuts hair and has a lot of clients, friends and neighbors that I’m sure would love to help him and I certainly one of them!

I'm so sorry to hear your friend had his car stolen. Did you mean to create a contest with a $500 prize? It's very unlikely anybody here will be able to track down the missing car, as most of us aren't located in America, let alone Hollywood. Because this contest is guaranteed, no matter the outcome, when this contest closes, you'll still have to choose a winner and pay someone $500. If this contest was created in error, I would suggest reaching out to the Freelancer staff and requesting a refund. On the other hand, if you genuinely meant to create a contest, please explain exactly what you'd like us to create/do for you, and we will be happy to oblige. In the meantime, I'd strongly recommend sharing details of the stolen vehicle with local Facebook groups and as many other social media platforms as possible. Best wishes.
