Create Brand Identity for iOS Application

Contest Brief

My company is developing an iOS application and we need somebody to help us come up with a brand identity. We have the app pretty much ready to launch, but can't come up with a good name/logo. The application is a way for people to see what sort of events (yard sales, discounts, free items, jobs that people need done, found pets, etc.) are going on in their community, as well as post these events. The application facilitates chat between the users so they can communicate about the details of events. Attached are videos of how the application looks as of now. The videos demonstrate searching for events, posting events, and chatting with other users (not necessarily in that order).

For the project, I would need an appropriate logo, name for the app, and bonus points are given if you can provide an appropriate color palette.
