Contest Brief

I need a skilled freelance designer to create marketing materials for my law firm. The job will involve designing three main types of materials:

1. Brochures
2. Business Cards
3. Letterhead

These materials should employ a color scheme of Roman red and gold, emulating a brand known for 50 years in legal services: Cotton. Additionally, business cards should include the following information:

- Our law firm's name (Cotton & Salinas) and logo
- Name and title of "Partner"
- Contact information (phone, email, address)
- Our website address: WWW.COTTON.LAW.
- Slogan: The President's 911

Ideal candidates for this project should have significant experience in corporate design, especially within the legal sector. They should also be able to work within the provided color scheme and create designs that uphold the professional and prestigious image of our law firm.

We have to communicate the following messages:

1. Cotton Law is a group of 2 companies that perform presidential transition consulting in Higher Education.

Cotton & Salinas provides contract review and negotiations, and Cotton Compensation Consulting provides compensation study services. Both are required during a presidential transition, often by opposite parties to the transaction. Cotton Law provides both range of services, utilizing one or both distinct entities.

2. Cotton & Salinas only represents presidents, chancellors, and provosts. We do not wish to be conflicted out of all presidents a school will ever hire, so we prefer not to represent institutions. Cotton Compensation Consulting will contract directly with institutions for compensation study services if an entity is needed for doing business with the institution.

3. Cotton & Salinas is the "Presidents 911" ...we are the only legal representatives in the country that specialize in representing college and university presidents during an employment crisis.

A note on branding: Cotton & Salinas is a legacy business. The son who owns this business inherited it from the father who was well-known for 50 years in Higher Education. The father's name must be featured somewhere, and his picture should appear as well. (See mockup)
