<Overview>
Please collect product information on vehicles that have or will have the technologies described in the “Technology Description” section below.

<Technology Description>
This technology is for ridesharing/ride-hailing apps to shorten passengers’ waiting times before riding requested cars.

Taxi and ridesharing/ride-hailing apps allow users to specify a pick-up location. However, depending on how you specify the pickup location, the traffic conditions on the road facing the pickup location, and your positional relationship with the assigned vehicle, it may take too long for the vehicle to arrive at the pickup location. As such, there is a problem that a passenger may have to endure unexpectedly longer waiting times.

To solve this problem, there are ridesharing/ride-hailing apps that allow passenger to specify a distance within which they are willing to walk. The passenger also enters a pick-up location into the apps as usual. The apps suggest to the passenger a pick-up location based on the distance and the pick-up location entered int apps. That will allow the requested vehicle to arrive as quickly as possible.
