Contest Brief

HIGH FANTASY ADJACENT 7pc Dice Packaging: I am looking for an illustrator to create 1-3 cartoon-style, possibly fantasy themed or brand adjacent illustrations for the packaging of small-sized products such as small boxes and packets, or designs that could easily be used on other forms of packaging or merchandise, or even made as stickers.

Please look at the proper number orientation for a d20. AI art with conjured fake numbers will be rejected.

I am open to method, but the ideal candidate should have experience in creating illustrations or designs something like the photos attached but for a different theme and be able to work in a cartoon or abstract style, I am open to ideas! The product is FANTASY themed, like high fantasy - dungeons and dragons type stuff. Dice sets will likely be in these packages, so something along the lines of all of that. Ideally I would like it to be obvious that inside lies a dice set, so the central focus of the image should be a 20 sided die, (icosahedron with legible numbers). The brand is also Viking themed for additional inspiration - nordic/celtic knot patterns could be cool if you feel like incorporating that. I am open to more wacky ideas as well - just other cool art if it generally follows the fantasy theme with the d20 or polyhedral 7 piece dice set as the focus. The illustrations should be eye-catching and visually appealing to our target audience, something you'd stop and look at if it were hanging on a shelf. The art shouldn't be TOOOOOOO complex, like it does not need to be a renaissance painting - something decent to put on packaging similar complexity to the examples posted (even though the content is different). Color is good! Past that I trust your artist experience! Have fun!
