Contest Brief

Animate clients logo to represent a high end, high quality, registered training organisation who provides training to people who are interested in being qualified to fly drones in Australia.

The target audience is any interested in photography, videography, surveying, mapping, agriculture etc. So people with a "keen eye" for quality graphics will be looking at this logo.

There is a brief in a .pdf uploaded, please read to give you a starting point.

It is critical to point out, that the target audience already have a great eye for quality, so its important to have a great looking visual effect.

I also reserve the right, that I may award more than one person to the contest, as there may be several elements that are liked from different people. Though I'm aiming to award just one, it may turn out that multiple people may be awarded the contest.

I often see your updates, all you need to do is comment on your design if you have updated from feedback. Of which, I'm very forthcoming with constructive feedback.

I want to confirm something for all designers. The target audience who will be purchasing training from this brand, will be photographers and similar people who have an eye for detail. So high quality detail is really important. It's more important than having the drone drop off a Uni hat.

I have to comment for all entries here, please follow these guidelines:
the Uni hat isn't a part of the logo, just something I created as I think it gives relevancy to the animation.
Have the drone drop off the hat really smoothly and take off smoothly leaving it below.... it should not take up the main focus of the logo as the logo doesn't have the Uni hat in it.
If you are using a 2 bladed animation, this won't work, as it looks like a helicopter and not a drone. Some of the entries have the right amount of animation so to speak, but the designs being presented don't work. Again, read the brief, read it x 5 times if you need to.... remember this is a drone training organisation.... make the animation look like a drone, even a 5, 6 or 8 blade system.... just even a 4 blade one will do..... the Uni hat ISN'T A PART OF THE LOGO....... have the drone drop it off smoothly, leave it below and rise up to reveal the logo..... I hope that helps

Simply put, don't do it. It's extremely poor form.

Please note, that this contest is an animated logo contest, that is you need to make the existing logo move.... don't change the logo design, just make it move. Reading the brief will help as well.
