Here is a bit more about what we do and where we are stuck.In the US, companies are not regulated or measured on how much carbon dioxide they release into the environment. So, if a company is a truck for hire and the truck releases dirty black pollutants into the air, there is nothing the company has to do to make that truck run cleaner. That truck may be on the road for 20 hours per day and the company is not responsible for their portion of our growing air pollution problem. Our products were designed to reduce those harmful pollutants, which we feel is impacting the world"s global warming problem. It is more important to other countries but not in the US, which is sad considering how much the US contributes to our globe"s poor air quality.So, in the sale I can take the angle that they will save money on how much they will spend on petroleum. Our products help reduce the harmful pollutants by cleaning out their engine parts and they will see an improvement in miles (kilos) per gallon (litre). So, in the US I lead with saving them money and reducing their pollutants are just a perk but I don"t feel like I have a compelling way to get their attention.I can take another angle highlighting how the raising fuel prices affect businesses and how many business fail due to rising costs, which is a fact. But if I can help serve the customers and maybe give them scary facts about how many business fail per year due to poor budgeting or some fact that relates somehow, I think that may help me become more credible and establish rapport.Many of my customers are trucking and delivery companies. Trucking companies would take goods from New York City to Los Angeles. Or a delivery company would deliver office supplies to 20 companies a day, or buses that transport people or children, etc. I also work with businesses that rely on diesel fuel, like hotels, convention centers, casinos and manufacturing plants, and so on.
