Hi,
Our company is looking to expand into the iPhone app marketplace and we are looking for an experienced iOS / iPhone programmer, who has past experience with creating games.
This project is for a 2-D game, where the user will be moving along the level, dodging various things (by jumping, ducking, diving, etc), collecting coins, and progressing through the game. For comparisons, look at Subway Surfers, MadCoasters, Jetpack Joyride. The first is a 3d game, but ours will be 2-D. I just wanted to show them to describe the "type" of gameplay that our game will have, and the realistic movements that the characters would need to have.
The graphic design and images for the game will be completed by my designer, but the programmer will be responsible for coding the entire game, menu screens, incorporating SDKs into the game, and all of the programming duties.
The programmer should be able to incorporate (create) smooth animations from the designs that our designers provide. My designers can create various images of the character in the game, but the coder that is chosen needs to be able to take those images and create SMOOTH animations.
SERIOUS BIDDERS only. If you are not the actual coder who will be working on this project, please do not bid. I do not want to work with a "project manager".
You must provide past samples of your work so that I can check out your experience level and see if you are a good fit to work with us on this project.
