Full Website Design in Joomla 2.5 CMS
We are growing business and would like to start a partnership with a good web developer . We are familiar with Joomla 2.5 and so would like the system built onto this platform. The website covers 3 main man stages – please read it carefully. All applicants/freelancers must be able to provide proof of portfolio work and must speak good English.
We have a graphic design capability so we will provide you with all the images, logos and text and we can pass all these these on in PSD format – the project is not ARTWORK but is concentrated on the WEBSITE build. When you are building the site for our approval you can use standard images for the sake of the ‘prototype build’ and then you will need to upload our images via the Joomla CMS software. The website has no e-commerce capability.
1) STAGE 1. Home page/landing page. We wish the design a 1 page landing page closely replicating the layout of this website but we have changes to the images, text headings and footers etc. Call this page STAGE 1. 2) STAGE 2. When clicking though from stage one into the main website we require a design very similar to the layout of this. wwwdotoysteryachtsdotcom. We only require 5 different template styles within this site and they are all based around the simple border/design/menu system. Again all these must be managed through Joomla CMS. We will provide all the logos, headings, menus etc but any images can be used to build the prototype website. We need to add a few additional features to the site. 1) News & twitter feed. 2) A scrolling image feature similar like this http://developers.slidedeck.com/ . 3) A more substantial footer to the site with links and SEO potential. We already have the simple HTML for 2 or 3 contact forms/booking forms which the designer will need to input.
3) STAGE 3. SEO – We require the designer to integrate our list of SEO tags, search terms, links and keywords into the website at STAGE1&2. The site must have good SEO format.
4) STAGE 4. When the site is uploaded and approved we will need some support to upload all our images and text. After this we may agree an hourly fee for ongoing support & maintance
We need to develop the full prototype website build within 21 days from the start of the project. Once approved we will aim to provide our text and images to the site and then these needs to be uploaded within 7 days. Many images will be provided before the build to help the designer and we can offer PowerPoint and illustrator/photoshop designs to help explain the design.
We require a dedicated phone number or Skype address to a project manager.
The website must use no flash and should display well on an ipad.
We are based in the UK. Please note: experienced and seriousfreelancers only who must show project/portfolio experience. We also have several other projects if the applicant is successful with this one.
