Think you can bring down our system? We want you!We’re looking for someone who loves to automate, push the scaling limits of software, and can write a script faster than the first paragraph of their cover letter.
Sweet Tooth is a customer loyalty and rewards system for eCommerce. We have critical uptime requirements and are looking for someone to stress our system to the max in order to identify and address scalability bottlenecks. Responsibilities:
-Build a suite of automation tools to apply heavy stress on the Sweet Tooth web services
-Generate and present reports on findings (max calls per minute, identified bottlenecks, etc)
-Work closely with the operations team to provide quantitative data on which areas should be focused on for scaling.
Requirements:
-Provide an example project where you’ve utilized web services
-Should be familiar with connecting and authenticating with REST and SOAP APIs
-Previous programming experience in the Linux environment
Useful Assets:
-Web development experience (PHP, HTML, CSS)
-Familiar with version control systems (Git)
