How much does it cost?
Employers, post your project, and make an offer to a Freelancer, for FREE! Once the Freelancer accepts your offer you will be charged the following fee, depending on your membership type:
- Free members pay $4 NZD, or 3%, whichever is greater
- Basic members pay $4 NZD, or 3%, whichever is greater
- Standard members don't pay any project fees!
- Premium members don't pay any project fees!
Hourly Projects are only charged the percentage rates shown above, not the dollar amount.
Full-time Projects are only charged the above fees once the project value exceeds $5800 NZD.Freelancers, to bid for work, register for FREE on Freelancer.co.nz, or become a paid member and get additional benefits. When you receive and accept an offer you will be charged the following fee, depending on your membership type.
- Free and Basic members pay $6 NZD, or 10%, whichever is greater
- Standard members pay $5 NZD, or 5%, whichever is greater
- Premium members pay $4 NZD, or 3%, whichever is greater

Full-time Projects are only charged the above fees once the project value exceeds $5800 NZD.You can pay by Credit Card, Paypal, Skrill (formerly Moneybookers), WebMoney, Wire Transfer and many other regional banking methods.
